Zeuthen Speaks to Ophthalmologists
On three occasions Zeuthen has spoken to refractive surgeons at their national meetings of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). The lectures, in August 2005 (Seattle), March 2006 (San Francisco) and August 2006 (Boston), were aimed at improving patient care. For over seven years, Zeuthen has represented refractive surgery patients who have suffered from poor outcomes. By discussing bad results with the surgeons, Zeuthen taught the ASCRS members how they might avoid future mistakes, improve patient care and better their own practices.
